Pioneer Works is proud to present “Medusa,” an ambitious mixed-reality experience developed by Tin Drum in collaboration with architect Sou Fujimoto and directed by Yoyo Munk. This marks the North American premiere of “Medusa,” following its debut at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London during the 2021 London Design Festival.

Straddling the realms of art, science, music, and technology, “Medusa” is a unique, ever-evolving mixed-reality experience that envelops visitors in an entirely new physical, visual, and auditory realm. Drawing inspiration from natural structures found in the upper atmosphere and the deep sea, the experience explores contrasts between individual and collective modes of existence, as well as between non-human and man-made structures.
