Job Summary
1.25 Inches Studio is seeking a part-time Diagram & Rendering Assistant to support early-stage design proposals, visual representation, and concept development for pre-construction consulting projects in Vancouver. The role will assist with producing diagrams, renderings, presentation graphics, and visual materials that communicate zoning studies, feasibility studies, design ideas, and schematic development concepts.
Qualifications
Current student or recent graduate in Architecture, Interior Design, Urban Design, or a related field; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree students are preferred.
Strong skills in Rhino are required.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, is required.
Revit experience is preferred but not required.
Ability to create clean diagrams, architectural graphics, concept renderings, and presentation layouts.
Strong design sense, attention to detail, and ability to work with visual consistency.
Good communication skills and ability to receive feedback during the design production process.

Responsibilites
Assist with creating diagrams, renderings, and visual materials for initial design proposals.
Support the production of presentation graphics, concept boards, and schematic design visuals.
Develop Rhino models, massing studies, and simple 3D views based on project direction.
Produce Photoshop renderings, Illustrator diagrams, and InDesign presentation layouts.
Help organize visual references, material studies, site analysis graphics, and precedent research.
Assist with zoning, feasibility, and development presentation packages through clear visual communication.
Revise drawings, diagrams, and renderings based on internal feedback.
Maintain consistent graphic standards across project documents and website content.
Support the studio’s visual representation process from concept development to final presentation.
