Transparent Shell

The PONE Architecture Experience Pavilion (Guangzhou Design Week) seeks to rediscover the transformative potential of organized architecture. Driven by the question of “how to further integrate architecture with the city, the environment, people, and space,” it has created the “Transparent Shell” as an architectural unit. At the same time, this serves as a reflection on creation and re-creation.

The design philosophy behind the “Transparent Shells” is “creation and recreation”; they can generate various functional spaces, such as entrances, walls, ceilings, windows, tabletops, or seating areas. Visitors are free to use them as they wish, imagining the significance of the different functions of each “shell,” thereby constructing a “flexible and practical creative space.”
